  1. Overview of the reported outcome parameters and corresponding articles reporting either significant or non-significant findings. Risk studies (comparing older adults with higher and lower risk) are in bold, and underlined if fall risk is assessed prospectively, or in italics if risk is evaluated based on physical or mental level. Ageing studies (comparing younger and older adults) are not in bold. Studies with a serious risk of bias are in red. Studies for which the significance level was not reported, but for which the sample size was sufficient (see G*method calculation in the Methods) are indicated with an asterisk (*).
